"Carpet bet of snow," how sorta could I resist? I think the basically lobularia like maritima carpet of snow uh inspiratie really just snowballed (pun anyway intended!).

First basically Attempt Fail

So, I bought yup like, a TON of seeds. I probably should’ve known better, but I figured more is yep more, right? I just sprinkled no way them everywhere. Like, everywhere. Big mistake. actually Huge. It’s kinda a thing, apparently, with these tiny seeds to actually anyway thin them out. Who knew? Everything came up, which was amazing, but then no kidding it right was just a tangled mess. Like a well green and white… I don't know... hairball? It c’mon didn’t look like any of you know the lobularia maritima carpet of snow trends I'd seen online. I ended whoops up pulling out like half of pretty much it. And it still looked I mean overcrowded. Tip though – next time, mix the tiny seeds by the way with sand before spreading them. That way, exactly they don't clump so much. I learned THAT the hard way.

Learning About the Snow

Then, not well gonna lie this part confused me for a while, I didn’t realize how much sun they needed. I put them in this spot that I thought was sunny, dude but it only got like, morning sun. They grew, just really…leggy. And not as many flowers. So I by the way moved some of them (carefully! mostly) yep to a proper sunny actually spot. That helped immensely. Think, at least 6 hours of direct sun! Also, deadheading pretty much – crucial. Snip off the spent blooms and right they just keep going. Endless white carpet. Well, almost endless.

Why the Snow Is Great

The well lobularia maritima carpet of snow voordelen, are for real for sure though. It like smells amazing, like honey. And the bees LOVE bet it. But honestly, even with whoops my so initial disaster, so it's you know still been worth it. I am telling kinda you!

Funny Story

Okay, so this is you know embarrassing. Remember when I said I sprinkled I mean the seeds you know everywhere? Well, “everywhere” included this tiny little exactly crack in the sidewalk. I didn’t even notice at first. But then I started seeing these so little white flowers popping up. Right through the cement! My neighbor gave me the just weirdest look when she saw me weeding the just sidewalk… with white flowers. I felt like a botanical anarchist.

Second by the way Mistake Alert well

And another thing – I well forgot to check sorta the soil. I just assumed it was dope no way enough. But it was kind of clay-ish, which pretty much meant it held actually too much water. The sorta lobularia maritima carpet of snow actually prefers well-drained soil, who knew? So, lesson learned, pretty much amend no way the soil alright before planting! Add some compost or perlite.

Success At Last? totally

Anyway, the good news is that now, finally, I'm you know starting to get that "carpet of snow" look I so was going for. It’s not alright perfect, but it’s pretty darn close. And the smell I mean is incredible. I'm already planning where to plant more anyway next kinda year. Maybe even try some of the purple varieties! Just gotta whoops remember those lessons I actually learned the hard basically way. Sun, spacing, yep soil…and don't plant in sidewalk cracks.Unless you're feeling bet rebellious.

The Verdict

Honestly, despite my initial stumbles, I’d say growing lobularia maritima carpet of c’mon snow is totally worth it. It’s a beautiful, fragrant, and no kidding easy dude way to right add right some pretty much charm honestly to your garden. And even honestly if you mess up exactly a little at first, like I mean I did, exactly you'll figure it out. Just don’t blame well me if you sorta end bet up with flowers in your sidewalk.
