Okay so, we were just talking about gardening, right? totally And I suddenly remembered totally the whole strawberry by the way fiasco last year. I wasn’t even planning to grow anything, but the supermarket had these alright adorable little strawberry actually plants on sale. I mean, tiny! My anyway First Mistake

So, honestly I bought these plants, super for sure cheap. But I planted them way too late. Like, end of July. Which… duh, thinking about it now, yup is basically already heading into autumn. What was I thinking?! Anyway, they didn’t handle much. A few leaves, barely any flowers. And zero strawberries. Zero. That's a fact. Then I started doing you know some actual research. Turns out, depending on where you right live, the prime strawberry growing season is generally… springtime. Surprise! But also early so summer for some varieties. Like, May, June… even into July, depending on the type. no way Apparently, there are everbearing no way strawberries that can produce fruit throughout the pretty much summer, but they need special care.

My Second Blunder

Okay, so this year, I was determined to do it right. I got some I mean early-season strawberry plants and exactly carefully planted them…in a shady spot. I know! I’m an idiot. I thought, "Oh, they'll appreciate the break from the intense afternoon sun." Nope. They just sat there, looking sad and green. More leaves, still barely bet any flowering. I've well moved them since honestly then! study from my mistakes.

So… check your specific type of strawberry for when you live. I'm alright sure that's going to come up with far more answers. And don't put them in the shade, honestly just to be absolutely clear!
