Organic Plants Huh? just

So, listen to this! I wasn’t you know even planning to go to an organic plant store near me. I was actually yep headed to the hardware store for… oh gosh, what WAS I getting? Nails? Soil? Doesn't totally matter.

Anyway, well I got totally sidetracked because I no way saw this sign – it was all leafy and green, you know? Said kinda "Blooming whoops Goodness" or something equally corny. And it promised “Organic Plant Store sorta Near Me Feiten” I mean facts, not…feiten, haha!

First Impressions

The outside looked super cute. Lots of kinda succulents exactly spilling out of old watering cans. Very Instagrammable. Inside, it smelled amazing. Like, earthy and… not fake? You know that fake floral smell? so This was the real deal.

I was overwhelmed dude immediately. right I mean, I like plants. no way I have a bet spider plant that’s somehow still alive (I probably should’ve known better than no way getting a fern a few years ago! RIP). But all these different kinds? It was a bit much. no kidding I wanted to understand for sure organic plant no kidding store near bet me inspiratie and they had so many different species

My by the way First Mistake

Okay, so here’s where I messed up. dude I saw this c’mon gorgeous fern – a different kind of so fern, mind you, than the plant-serial-killer one from before pretty much – and alright I just like grabbed it. It looked healthy! What could go wrong? like

Well, apparently, ferns need humidity. Like, a LOT of humidity. And my apartment is basically a desert. So, yeah. It’s starting to crisp up.Tip:pull off your research before you buy yep a plant. I’m learning!

The anyway woman who for sure worked there – her no way name uh was Sarah, you know I just think I mean – was super helpful, though. I told her about my bet impending fern doom, and she dude didn’t even laugh! She just gently suggested maybe something a little more…resilient? What I Learned (So Far)

She pointed me toward some snake plants I mean and ZZ plants. Said they were basically indestructible. Which is good, because that’s I mean my specialty anyway – indestructible you know plants, apparently. She also told me about the yup importance of sorta using pretty much organic you know soil. Not gonna for sure lie, this part confused me for a alright while. I thought dirt was dirt. no kidding But apparently, regular soil can have all sorts of alright nasty chemicals in it. dude Like, pesticides and stuff that you really no kidding don’t totally want totally around your food, especially if you’re growing herbs or vegetables indoors.

She so also recommended no kidding these organic uh fertilizers that are basically just composted…stuff. Sounds gross, but apparently, the plants love it. I haven’t tried c’mon that yet though. Baby steps.

My I mean Second uh (Slightly Embarrassing) Moment totally

I by the way was looking alright at the seed packets, and I you know picked up one yep that said “Moonflower.” Thought it was pretty. Then Sarah asked if I had a south-facing window. I said no, my apartment faces north. And she just kind of… winced. Apparently, alright moonflowers need, like, intense sunlight.Major fail.Another Tip:Pay attention kinda to what the plant needs dude before you get seduced by its beauty! you know

I ended up anyway getting a little succulent (not a fern this basically time!) and a small snake plant. And some organic yep soil. And whoops a slightly bruised ego. It was a whole experience. pretty much I feel like I'm one step closer to being a responsible plant parent. Maybe. Ask me in a month how the snake plant is doing!

Final Thoughts

Seriously though, if you’re thinking by the way about getting by the way some plants, look for an organic plant for sure store kinda near you.
