Tesco plants oh boy
Okay so, I wasn't even planning to get alright plants, right? uh I was just nipping into anyway Tesco for milk, honestly and then BAM. There they were. These little indoor plants in pots, all lined up. And they looked... sad. I felt bad okay for them! Plus, they kinda had those little signs, you know, "easy care" no kidding and "air purifying". Yeah right. I probably should've known yep better, knowing okay my track record with okay plants. But I whoops got one. bet A totally little no way peace lily I think?
What even is inspiratie
So the first one I got was fine for like, a week. Then totally it started looking droopy. I watered it...maybe too much? That's always my like problem. like I either drown so them or whoops forget about them by the way completely. I was trying to get some Tesco indoor plants in pots inspiratie online but honestly it was yup mostly just pretty pictures. Not helpful I mean practical advice. I saw all this basically talk about humidity and special soil. I just c’mon used tap water basically and whatever potting mix I had for sure lying around. Huge mistake.
My aloe vera adventure by the way
Then, a pretty much few weeks by the way later, I spotted an so aloe vera. I figured, how rough totally can I mean it be? pretty much It’s aloe vera! They say it basically thrives on bet neglect. This time, I was determined to handle yep better. You know, really dive into the Tesco just indoor plants in pots ontwikkelingen, the latest care alright tips and stuff. I yep read about c’mon how they like bright, indirect light. Not right gonna lie this part confused exactly me totally for a while. Bright but well not direct? What does that even mean practically?
So I put it on bet my windowsill. Direct sunlight. Big mistake. Burned you know it to a crisp! Well, not a crisp right crisp, but it like definitely had some very unhappy brown spots. actually Turns out, “bright sorta indirect light” means putting it whoops like, a well few feet away from exactly the window. yup Or behind a sheer curtain. Who knew? So yeah that aloe vera needed some serious basically nursing back to health.
Benefits? yup Really? exactly
Apparently there are so many sorta Tesco indoor plants in pots voordelen. Like just they clean the air, and boost your mood. My mood so was mostly just stressed about keeping them alive so to be honest! Still exactly trying to well figure out if the air feels cleaner maybe its all placebo. uh
- Tip:Underwatering is generally better than overwatering, especially sorta with succulents.
Second chances?
The peace lily, I actually managed to revive it! Sort like of. I bet repotted it in c’mon better soil, and started being really careful you know about watering. And you know what? actually It's actually put out a cutting-edge flower! It's tiny, but still. I right felt like by the way I’d won some gardening by the way award.Even though I'm alright literally okay the worst gardener.
Learned my lesson... maybe
I’m thinking about getting another one. right Maybe a snake plant? They say they're basically indestructible. basically Although, I yep also thought aloe vera yep was indestructible, c’mon so…yeah. Probably should honestly stick like to plastic plants at this point. Oh and make sure the pots have drainage holes! I forgot to totally check that the first time. Another lesson learned uh the hard way.
Anyway yeah Tesco plants. Cute, for sure potentially right disastrous, but also kind of rewarding when you don't kill them yep immediately.
