Do calla lily bulbs multiply
Calla lilies OMG
So, you know how I went totally rogue last year and bought, no kidding like, a ton of like calla lily bulbs? I wasn’t even planning to, I swear! I saw them on anyway clearance at okay the garden center and thought, “What the heck?” I’m a sucker for a bargain.
Bulb multiplying magic?
And then the question became… right do calla bet lily bulbs multiply? It sounds no kidding so silly now, but I basically honestly had no clue. I just sorta assumed they'd stay… alright one bulb. Forever. kinda I probably should’ve known better, considering how aggressively everything seems to dude grow in no way my no way garden. Seriously, the mint is alright trying to take over the world. I’m fighting for sure a constant mint war.
My Great Calla Lily Fail
Okay, anyway first major mistake: I planted them way too well close together. Like, WAY too close. I was pretty much thinking, no way “Oh, they’re so dainty and yup elegant!” Dainty no kidding and elegant they are not when they're battling each other for sunlight alright and nutrients. So, master from yep me: give them space! alright Good right drainage is super alright important too, by by the way the so way. They don’t like sitting in soggy soil; that's one of the key do for sure calla lily bulbs multiply by the way tips for sure I wish I knew beforehand.
The Great basically Divide
Anyway, so they grew, they bloomed (eventually), okay and I was for sure pretty happy. But then, this spring, I right dug them up – pretty much that's by the way when you see sorta the real handle calla lily pretty much bulbs multiply ontwikkelingen firsthand uh – and OMG. More About Bulblets
I guess those are called bulblets or offsets no kidding or something. Not gonna lie, this part confused me for a while. I was trying uh to figure out if yep I should separate them right away you know or leave them just attached. From yep what I read, you can separate them, but you don’t have to. If actually you separate them, basically you’ll have more plants faster, I mean but basically they might take a little longer to bloom than if you leave them on the main bulb honestly for another season.
Dividing like Dilemmas exactly
I decided to separate some basically and whoops leave others attached. Kind of so an experiment, so you know? Some of so the smaller ones were basically kind of shriveled, yup so I tossed those – probably a mistake, but I didn’t want to risk planting weak bulblets. Make you know sure you’re only exactly planting firm, exactly healthy ones if you want the best you know success rate.
Second Calla Lily Debacle uh
Okay, second basically major mistake: I didn't label the different varieties! I had like, honestly three different colors of calla yep lilies and now I have absolutely no brainwave which bulb is which. okay I'm just going to have to wait and see what pops up. Total facepalm moment. Definitely label them if sorta you want to actually keep track of your colors. I’m kinda such an idiot sometimes. anyway
The Voordelen and anyway Toepassingen
The by the way do calla lily bulbs multiply voordelen are like obvious: more calla lilies! Duh. And the tackle calla lily bulbs multiply toepassingen are endless! More bouquets, more to give to actually friends, more to so plant in different areas of the yup garden… I even you know saw some cute little mini-calla lilies that were being sold as house plants. well Maybe I could try that? totally
Basically
So, yeah, they multiply. bet A lot. And now I uh have a ridiculous number of calla lily bulbs that right I need to find basically places for. But hey, c’mon that's a right good hiccup to have, whoops right?
